Party & Paint with Bill Teeple

Party & Paint with Bill Teeple will be live in the gallery and also online in November

Two Party & Paint sessions are scheduled, Saturday November 18th, 7:30-9:30 and Sunday November 19th, 1:00-3:00. The sessions are identical, you choose one.

Party & Paint is designed to give beginners a chance to have the fun of painting. No skill or experience is required. Bill Teeple takes the group step by step through the creation of a simple painting. Bill traces the basic composition out on a canvas for the participants making the process easy. What makes these events unique is that participants copy a painting by a famous artist. “This month I’ve selected a painting by my favorite artist for Party & Paint, Gabriele Munter,” says Teeple “Her work is perfect for beginners, while being a beautiful example of early German Expressionism.”

Experienced artists are invited to join in, doing their own variations on the night’s theme.

The fee for those painting live in the gallery is $35, which includes traced canvas, all supplies and refreshments.

For those working at home and joining on Zoom, packets of art supplies will be made available that can be picked up at ICON or shipped by mail. The basic fee for those painting at home on Zoom is $20 for Bill’s instruction. Participants will have a choice of supplies in the box. Add $3 for just the traced canvas and the image to paint. Add $10 for canvas, image and paint. Add $14 for canvas, image, paint, brushes and a palette. Add extra for postage.
