Fairfield Arts & Convention Center

Located in the heart of downtown, the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center is a gathering place designed to showcase a world of arts and culture. This beautiful facility promises a rich and diverse season of performing arts and cinema exhibitions. The center reflects the city’s rich tradition of family, community and pride and is one of the most comprehensive arts and convention centers in the state of Iowa. FACC features the Stephen Sondheim Theater for the Performing Arts, the Fairfield Art Association Art Gallery, a large exposition hall, flexible meeting room space, and a commercial kitchen. The center offers an array of spaces that will help to create a sophisticated backdrop for weddings, meetings and events of all kinds.

The Center is home to the Stephen Sondheim Theater for the Performing Arts, the first building in the United States to be named for celebrated composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim. The theater features an intimate 522-seat proscenium theater.

The Fairfield Arts and Convention Center offers flexible meeting space to accommodate gatherings of nearly any size, including a full range of catering and banquet options. The Center features more than 12,000 square feet of flexible meeting space available for rent, including the Fairfield Economic Development Association Executive Conference Room, Cambridge Investment Research Event Room, Dick and Judy Smith Event Room, Iowa State Bank Atrium and the Manufacturers Association Expo Hall.
