West Coast Swing, Tango, Contra & English Country Dance in Fairfield

Monthly 1st (usually!) Saturday West Coast Swing Dance Party 7:30-9:30 pm at Morning Star Studio 51 1/2 S Court St, Fairfield PLUS additional dance events in Tango, Zouk, English Country Dance and Contra Dance.

1st Sat. West Coast Swing Dance Party music will include a get-up-and-boogie West Coast Swing-friendly playlist with a mix of pop, blues, R&B, with some bachata, rumba, night club 2-step, etc. tunes for even more variety.  Even if you don’t know West Coast Swing, please come and enjoy! TANGO Foundations class Mondays starting Oct 2 with Matias Sotto at 7:15 – 8:15 pm ($10) the Lab 408 W. Lowe followed by free practice from 8:15 – 9:30 pm.  Details: https://matitangoiowa.blogspot.com/

English Country Dance weekly (usually) on Friday  — Hamilton’s porch  at 7:30pm  2140 227^th St. Wear comfortable clothes/shoes,  no partner necessary.  Beginners welcome! $5

Monthly (Saturday) Contra Dance at Morning Star Studio 51 1/2 S Court St — check schedule at ffadc.blogspot.com as it varies month to month. Live music with calling by Jennifer Hamilton and April Maberry. All dances are taught, and beginners (and everyone who is rusty!) are warmly encouraged to come for review and instruction at 7:00 pm — dance from 7:30-9:30 pm  Admission is just $7 (free for kids under 12). Please carry in clean shoes to dance in — and bring snacks to share!
